Friday Updates- September 8, 2017

Happy Friday, TCDS Families!

Our 3’s and 4’s all made it through their first week of school with smiles on their faces! Despite a few tears at the beginning of the day, our Angels were all happily participating in classroom activities within mere minutes. A HUGE “thank you” to our fabulous staff for wiping the tears and reassuring our students! And, as always, we all thank our parents for trusting us to care for your babies during this transition!

Our first Parent’s Club events will take place next week! First, we will have Meet and Greets on Wednesday, September 13 and Thursday, September 14 following drop-off. Please stop by to meet the Parent’s Club officers, sign up to volunteer, and enjoy some refreshments. Then, on Friday, September 15, we will have our annual Ice Cream Social beginning at 6 pm. We will string up the lights, open the sandbox, and enjoy sundaes together with new friends!

If you are interested in helping with the Fall Harvest Party and Chili Cook-Off Contest this year, please hang out after Wednesday’s Meet and Greet for a short information and idea session with Jen Collins!

You should have received Joe Corbi’s order forms this week in your child’s bag (all 2’s will receive these this coming week). Please help us to earn money for our school by ordering some yummy treats from the catalog and asking family members if they are interested. Orders are due back to the school by October 2, so get started soon!

We pushed Back to School Night to Thursday, September 14 at 7:00 pm. I am hearing that some people did not receive my email the week of August 21 regarding this change and, for that, I truly apologize. I sent out a test email this week, so I am hoping my messages are reaching everyone now. Please join us on Thursday to learn about our school procedures and to hear from your teachers.

Please reply to this email to let me know that you have received this email! I appreciate your assistance in ensuring our messages are getting through!

Ms. Melissa, Ms. Lou, and Ms. Sue are all really excited to welcome their new students next week! We wish you all a wonderful and restful weekend! See you on Monday!

Take Care,
