Happy Friday, Everyone!
It has been a great week at TCDS, although I have missed the majority of it while I have been nursing my sick kiddoes at home. A HUGE thank you to our fabulous Ms. Laura for holding down the fort in my absence this week! I don’t know what we would do without you, Ms. Laura!! And thank you to our fabulous staff for continuously making our students’ school days fun, engaging, and full of love. You all make TCDS a fantastic place to be!
We have done some cleaning out over the past few weeks and pulled out all of the riding toys we were storing in the playground shed. I feel as if these toys are being neglected at TCDS largely due to safety concerns with large amounts of children on the playground. Therefore, we are giving our TCDS families the opportunity to adopt these riding toys for a better life at their homes. Please take a look at the toys past the gate behind the building and take what you would like. Free to a good and loving home!
Date Change: Last week, I talked about Community Day but gave you the wrong date. Community Day at Trinity will be on Saturday, May 5, 2018. We are looking for VENDORS who would like to set up a space during this day. If you or someone you know would like to be a VENDOR on May 5, please come and see me in the office!
Our annual Bull and Oyster Roast is coming up on Friday, March 23 at Columbus Gardens. Tickets will be on sale soon for $50 a ticket, which gets you a delicious buffet dinner, access to the best silent auction in town, raffles, open bar, and lots of fun! We are doing open seating this year unless a full table to 10 is purchased, so start gathering friends for a table today!
Final tuition payments for the 2017-2018 school year were due on February 1. Thank you to those families who have brought them in already. Please bring in payment next week in order to avoid the late fee. Remember that placement for next year cannot be finalized without this payment. Thank you so much!
Grandparents Days are coming up on February 28 and March 1. Invitations should have come home this week with more information and an RSVP slip. Please return the RSVP slip so that your child’s teacher will be able to prepare for this fun day at TCDS. Remember: if grandparents aren’t available to visit, other special friends are invited to spend a fun morning with your child. We look forward to a great turn out!
Next week, keep an eye out in your child’s folder for information on our Summer Nature Program. We are planning 4 fun-filled weeks during the month of June. The themes will include (in this order): Space, Safari, STEM, and Cooking & Nutrition. There will be 30 spots available the first two weeks and 15 the last two weeks. The cost of the SNP is $185 a week and a savings coupon can be found on our website. We will begin registering on Monday, March 5. Start making your plans today!
I hope everyone enjoys a happy, healthy weekend. I know I look forward to watching some fun commercials and eating some yummy football food on Sunday! I hope to see everyone next week!
