Happy Friday, Everyone!
It was lovely to see all of our MWF Angels this morning after all of the days off this week! I am highly impressed with how well all of our students are dealing with the change in schedules with this winter weather! Luckily, the ice didn’t cancel our MUSICAL SNOW day on Tuesday afternoon! Ms. Sue led a fun afternoon with musical instruments, parachute games, and beautiful dancing. Thank you to those who stayed and to Ms. Sue for planning such an engaging and enriching event!
TICKETS ARE IN for this year’s Bull and Oyster Roast on Friday, March 23 at Columbus Gardens! Tickets go on sale on Monday for $50 a piece or $500 for a table of ten. Tickets get you admission to the event, a full buffet dinner, open bar, dancing, as well as access to games, raffles, and the best silent auction in town! This year, we are doing open seating at the event unless you purchase a table. If you purchase a table, please return the bottom portion of the pink flyer, in folders today or Tuesday, along with payment. We are asking for groups to come up with a TABLE NAME to make check-in smoother this year- be creative and let your guests know the name of your table to avoid confusion! All checks can be made payable to TCDS Parents’ Club.
We are still collecting donations for our silent auction at the Bull and Oyster Roast. If you have new items at home that you would like to donate, please place them in the donation boxes in the lobby. If you know of a business that would be willing to donate products or services to our auction, please come to the office for a donation letter to give out. We truly appreciate all of your help in making this event a success!
This coming Tuesday, February 13, Trinity Church will host their annual Pancake Supper to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. Come by the upstairs parish Hall between 5 and 7pm to enjoy pancakes, breakfast meats, and beverages with other TCDS and church families. This is a free event and you are welcome to come by anytime within those two hours. Gluten free pancakes and sugar free syrup will be available and “Mardis Gras” costumes are encouraged! Ms. Laura and I hope to see you there!
There are a few more riding toys available, free to a loving home, past the gate behind the building. If you are interested, please take any of the toys still back there for your sweet angels to enjoy outside of school!
Grandparents’ Days are coming up on February 28 and March 1. Please send in the RSVP slips to your teacher(s) so we are prepared for all of our special guests. We look forward to what is always a very memorable day at TCDS!
Have a wonderful weekend!
