Dear TCDS Families,

Happy Friday, all! We have so many things happening next week and beyond, so I am going to jump right in!

Class pictures will be taken on Monday and Tuesday. Please dress your child in their TCDS shirts for their picture day; there are shirts available to borrow on Monday and Tuesday if need be. If you would like to order a class picture, please send $7 to your teacher on your picture day (checks payable to TCDS). The schedule is as follows:

Ms. Melissa (MWF)

Ms. Debbie

Ms. Marcie

Ms. Jaime

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Ms. Laurie

Ms. Nicole

Extended Day Dance with Ms. Melissa will also take place on Monday and Tuesday from 12-3. Tuesday’s Dance Class is full, but we still have space on Monday for anyone who would like to sign up! Just email me if you would like to add your child’s name to the list and you can bring the paperwork and payment on Monday morning.

Next week, we also have field trips in the 3’s and 4’s classes. Our 3’s students will visit Ladew Gardens on April 25 and our 4’s classes will go to Marshy Point on April 27. All permission slips have been sent home and should have been returned to teachers at this point. If you need more information, please contact your teacher or the office ASAP!

ATTENTION, ALL ESTIMATORS! We are currently playing a “Guess the Number” game in the lobby for a chance to win free passes and skate rentals at Ice World! Take a look at the jar of beans on the table in the lobby and make a guess about how many are in the jar. Limit two guesses per Angel! Whoever is the closest to the correct amount will win the passes!

On May 5, Trinity Church and TCDS will host a Community Day from 10am until 2pm. The school will have an Open House for all prospective families, there will be a bounce house and playground fun, lunch and baked goods will be for sale, and hanging baskets will be available for purchase. There will also be retail and craft vendors set up in the school and a flea market set up in the upstairs hall. If you have any items you would like to donate to the flea market, please bring them into school starting next week. All items in good condition, excluding clothes, will be accepted! We hope you can make it to Trinity on May 5 for Community Day!

TONIGHT is the last movie night of the school year! Please join us upstairs at 6:30 for a showing of “Ferdinand”. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Wear your jammies and bring a blanket to lay on! Hope to see you there!

MULCH MADNESS is happening this Sunday, April 22 at 1pm. Please come join us as we spread mulch on our playground and have fun together! Children are welcome to come, help, and play. Food will be served to those who come and volunteer! Please bring a rake, shovel, and wheelbarrow if you have them. I truly appreciate all the help we can get!

I hope your weekend is full of vitamin D, warm weather, and fun memories!

Take Care,
