Happy, Happy Friday!
What a very strange November week it has been. Can you believe that storm yesterday? I hope your Angels had some fun playing in the early snow and that everyone stayed safe and warm in the conditions. Hopefully, my email alerts have gotten to everyone in time; if you ever have questions about our operating status, please check your email, our Facebook page, OR you can call and check our voicemail message. I truly do try my hardest to ensure everyone is well-informed!
Next Wednesday is Thanksgiving Chapel, our first special chapel of the year! The children have been working hard with Ms. Sue to learn the special holiday songs they will perform for their families during this service. Please remember that Thanksgiving Chapel is NOT a regular school day; our 3’s and 4’s students attend their chapel service (see schedule below) and our 2’s students do not have school on this day. The children are to be dropped off in their classrooms at the designated time listed below and their caregiver(s) will walk to the church to get a seat for chapel. All students will sit with their classes during the service and will be dismissed immediately following chapel. There is NO morning or afternoon Extended Day on Wednesday, November 21. A copy of this schedule was supposed to come home yesterday and today, but the weather got in the way- 3-day and 5-day classes will receive their schedule in folders today, but our 2-day classes will not receive this reminder until Tuesday.
9:30 (arrive at 9:15) Ms. Nicole 10:30 (arrive at 10:15) Ms. Jamie
Ms. Debbie Ms. Laurie
Ms. Lauren Ms. Marcie
If you have a student in the 2’s class, please know you are welcome to attend chapel at either time listed above. Your child will sit with you during the service, as the 2’s classes do not attend chapel services throughout the year. But please remember that, should you choose not to attend chapel, your 2’s student will not have school on Wednesday, November 21.
If you haven’t already seen the announcement on Facebook, we are excited to announce that there will be no tuition increases for next year! An updated Program Offerings and Admission Application can be found on our website at www.trinitychurchdayschool.com. Paper copies of these papers will come home in early January in preparation for Registration on January 17. Registration isn’t until January, but it never hurts to start planning early!
We are still collecting nonperishable food items for Paul’s Place! Please place your items in the donation box in the lobby. In addition, each child attending chapel next Wednesday will bring a food item to the altar at the beginning of the service. Thank you for your generosity!
In addition, we have partnered with Trinity Church to provide 5 local families with their Christmas wishes this year. Next week, you will see Angels hanging in the lobby. If you are able, please choose an Angel and purchase the requested gift described on the back of the Angel. All gifts will be due back to school by December 12 in order to deliver them to families before break. Thank you!
Tonight is MOVIE NIGHT at Trinity Church! Please join us for a viewing of “Incredibles 2” at 6:30 in the upstairs Parish Hall. Snacks and drinks will be provided by the church at no cost to you! Please come comfy and join us for a fun evening!
I hope you all enjoy this weekend and don’t have to spend *too* much time prepping for the holiday! Please remember that TCDS will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday!
