Friday Updates- December 14, 2018

Ho Ho Ho, TCDS Families!

Christmas is right around the corner, which means that most of you are feeling the holiday crunch! I hope that your preparations are going well and that you are stress-free. We will dive right into what we have planned for our fun-filled week next week!

Spontaneity is the spice of life… in that mindset, we are planning a couple last-minute spirit days for next week.

MONDAY: Wear your favorite Christmas shirt/sweater. If you don’t have one, wear red and/or green!

TUESDAY: Wear your favorite pajamas, Christmas or otherwise. No slippers, please!

Christmas Chapel is coming! This year, our Christmas Chapel services are on Wednesday, December 19th at 9:30 and 10:45. Ms. Nicole’s 5-Day Pre-K will be performing the Christmas Tableau at both services. Please check the schedule in the Tiny Tales to find out which service our other 3s and 4s classes will attend. Please drop your child off in their classroom at the assigned time and then find a seat in the church for the service. This service gets VERY crowded, so it’s best to get here right at the drop-off time and find a seat! Ms. Nicole’s class, please refer to the special note sent home this week regarding seating for chapel services. Dismissal will immediately follow the service. There will be NO MORNING OR AFTERNOON EXTENDED DAY CARE on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19th. School will be closed following the chapel services and reopen after the holidays on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Conferences are right around the corner on January 11. Your teacher will post a schedule for you to sign up before break. If you haven’t seen anything yet, please reach out to your teacher. More details will follow in the New Year regarding Extended Day on Conference Day.

TONIGHT is movie night at Trinity! Please join us in the upstairs Parish Hall at 6:30 for a viewing of “Smallfoot”. Snacks will be provided by the church and free will donations will be accepted. Bring a blanket and wear your jammies! Hope to see you there!

Have a fun and fabulous weekend! See you for all the Holly Jolly fun next week!

Take Care,

Chrissy
