Friday Updates- February 22, 2019

Hello All!

Happy Friday! I am truly hoping that this week was IT for the snow days. I am ready for warmer weather, drier grounds, and more outside time!! Our 5-day 4s class celebrated the 100th day of school yesterday, so we know that school has been in session for that many school days. Our Angels are all 100 days smarter, and we are so very proud of the progress they have made so far this year!

Grandparents’/Grandfriends’ Day is coming up on March 6 and 7. This is a special opportunity for visitors to come see your child in the school setting. Invitations should have been sent home this week and we have already seen RSVP slips returning to school. Please return these slips to your teacher ASAP so we can anticipate how many visitors we will have. In order to keep our classrooms safe, we are asking that visitors are limited to 4 (or less) per family and that arrangements are made to keep younger siblings at home. The teachers work hard to make this day special, but we all like to keep the schedule as consistent as possible for the benefit of our students.

Hershey Park ticket order forms are due back to the office, with payment, on Thursday, February 28. This is a fundraiser for the Parents’ Club and all money earned will come directly back to the school. Extra order forms are on the table in the lobby, so pick some up and sell some tickets! Thank you!

Trinity Barn Bash is on Saturday, March 30 from 6-10 pm at Grimmel Farms! Tickets are $60 a piece, which gets you a delicious buffet dinner, access to our fabulous Silent Auction, open bar (beer and wine), raffles, games, dancing, and so much more! Buy your tickets TODAY! We hope that you can join us!

Keep an eye out for information about our big YETI raffle in conjunction with the Barn Bash. There are TWO chances to win this year, and each prize is valued at $320! Tickets will be on sale soon, so GET READY!!

We will begin accepting applications from Trinity families for our Summer Nature Program on Monday, February 25. Applications were sent home last week, but there are extra copies on the table in the lobby. Please bring the completed application with a 20% deposit to hold your spot(s). Also, please be sure to mark your interest in Extended Day on the application so we can see if we have enough interest for the second two weeks of June.

Every year, TCDS celebrates reading during the months of March and April with our Read-to-Me program. Information will be coming home about this fun program, along with a personalized bookmark designed by your child, at the end of next week. Please keep an eye out for this information and feel free to reach out to us in the office should you have any questions.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. I also pray that we will have a regular, consistent week of school starting on Monday!

Take Care,

Chrissy
