Information and raffle tickets came home this week for our big YETI raffle in conjunction with the Barn Bash. There are TWO chances to win this year, and each prize is valued at $320! Tickets are on sale for $10 a piece. If you do not want to purchase the tickets sent home this week, please just return them to the office. If you need extra tickets, come see Laura!

We are accepting applications for our Summer Nature Program. Applications were sent home a couple weeks ago, but there are extra copies on the table in the lobby. Please bring the completed application with a 20% deposit to hold your spot(s). There is a savings coupon on our website if you are registering for 2 or more weeks, so if you would like to take advantage of the savings please print the coupon and return it with your application. Also, please be sure to mark your interest in Extended Day on the application so we can see if we have enough interest for the second two weeks of June.

A few notes on school and playground safety:

  • When the entrance door is locked, it is that way for safety purposes. If you ring the bell to be let in and someone comes up behind you, please ask them to wait and ring the bell as well. This helps us in the office keep track of who is coming into the building, especially in the early morning time. Even if the person looks “official” (i.e. in a uniform), please ask them to ring the bell and come to the office to sign in. We appreciate your help with this.
  • With warm weather comes lots of playground time! Please remember to closely supervise your children while on the playground before and after school. Children must follow the same rules as they do during the school day, so we really appreciate your vigilance in making sure they follow the rules posted on the wall outside.
  • We are asking that children who have been signed out of school not play with the equipment in the plastic storage bin by the front entrance of the school. These items are purchased, some with grant money from the state, for the use of children during the school day. We appreciate your understanding.

We have scheduled a playground maintenance day for Saturday, April 6 (rain date on Sunday, April 7). Mulch for the playground will be delivered that Friday afternoon and we need volunteers to help spread it in order to keep the playground safe and in good condition. Please mark your calendar and plan to stop by and help… the more people who attend, the faster the work will be finished! THANK YOU!

TONIGHT is movie night at Trinity. Come watch “Wreck it Ralph Breaks the Internet” tonight at 6:30 in the upstairs parish hall. Snacks and drinks are provided for free, and donations are accepted. Come comfy and bring a blanket to lay on! Hope to see you there!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Take Care,

Chrissy
