Good Afternoon, TCDS Families!

Happy Friday… or as Ms. Laura would say, Happy Purple Friday! Another fabulous week has ended here at TCDS! We have had many wonderful moments this week… and just a few creepy, crawly ones! But the good news is that we only have Trinity Angels on the playground now, running and playing and having the best time. We started Soccer Shots on Tuesday, which was so much fun! Enrichment began on Wednesday and was a resounding success. We are fully into the regular school routine now, and it feels wonderful!

Wednesday was our first Chapel service of the year. Each Wednesday, near the end of the day, our 3s and 4s students attend Chapel before dismissal. They sing some songs, learn some prayers, and enjoy a Bible story and lesson delivered by Dr. Fran. All parents and caregivers are welcome to join the service, if available. Your child will continue to stay with their class throughout the service and will return to their classroom for dismissal. We do not dismiss directly from Chapel. If you are arriving for pickup when the students are returning from Chapel, please hang back by the playground gate until all of the students have entered the building. This helps make sure all of our students return to their classrooms safely for dismissal! Thank you, and we hope to see you there!

TONIGHT is the Ice Cream Social starting at 6:00 pm! We have a lot of expected guests, so please be patient as the ice cream line might be long. We will open the sandbox and turn on the lights so the children can play! Older and younger siblings are absolutely welcome to attend, but it is imperative that all older siblings play in a gentle manner to prevent our littlest students from being injured. There will be a list of “Big Kid Rules” posted on the gate; please review these with your older children when you arrive. All children should follow the posted playground rules as they usually do. Please monitor your children and remain in close proximity to ensure the rules are being followed. Please be aware that I will step in, if needed, to keep everyone safe! The Ice Cream Social starts at 6:00 pm and will wrap up in about an hour! It is always a really fun time and I look forward to seeing many of you there!

Please remember: All lunches should be peanut-free and all snacks should be completely nut-free! We appreciate your assistance in keeping all of our students healthy!

I am just loving this fall weather… I hope it sticks around for a while! Please have a fabulous weekend, and I look forward to seeing you on Monday!

Take Care,
