Friday Updates- October 25, 2019

Good Afternoon, TCDS Families!

Happy Friday! It has been a very fun and eventful week here at Trinity! Our 4s lucked out with GORGEOUS fall weather on their field trip to Beachmont on Wednesday! Our 3s sang their hearts out during chapel that day since the “big kids” were gone. All of the classes are learning all about the fall season and preparing for the big, spooky holiday coming up next week! And everyone was learning and growing along the way!

Next week, you will see a few important items come home in your child’s folder. Please keep an eye out for:

  • Picture Day Order Forms
  • Canned Food Drive information

Picture Days will take place on November 4 and 5. Please send in your order and payment with your child on the day of their pictures. If your child is ill, retakes can be scheduled so please keep your child home to rest if need be. The schedule will be as follows:

Monday, November 4, 2019

Ms. Melissa 2’s (MWF)

Ms. Debbie 3’s

Ms. Marcie 3’s

Ms. Jaime 4’s

Tuesday, November 5, 2019

Ms. Nikki’s Two & You

Ms. Melissa 2’s (Tu/Th)

Ms. Marcie 3’s

Ms. Lauren 3’s

Ms. Nicole 4’s

Our holiday canned food drive will kick off on November 1. Every year, we collect nonperishable food for those who are served at Paul’s Place and the school is always able to send two sizable donations down to Baltimore for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please see the information that will come home early next week for the food items they are looking for! We truly appreciate our families for taking the opportunity to show their children what giving truly means during the holiday season!

This is your friendly reminder that the 3rd tuition payment is due November 1. Please send it to the office as soon as possible. Thank you!

Silvergraphics order forms came home this week! This is the Parents’ Club’s fall fundraiser and it gives you the chance to order special gifts for your friends and families just in time for Christmas. Orders can be done on the paper form sent home or online using your child’s special code. Please contact Cari Santiago at TCDSPCPresident@gmail.com with any questions!

Halloween is coming up next Thursday and we are excited to celebrate with special Halloween snacks and crafts. However, for multiple practical reasons, we do not have our Angels dress in costume in school. They are welcome to dress in all the Halloween gear they would like, though! BUT, we still LOVE to see them in their costumes; so, please send your Halloween costume pictures to the office email for our annual “BOO!” display!

A message from Trinity Church: Six children attended the first “Sunday School Fun Day” on October 6th.   They worked together to illustrate God’s Creation story, shared with the congregation, and then displayed their “creations” on the bulletin board.  The next “Sunday School Fun Day” will be held next Sunday on November 3rd.   The focus will be “All Saints Day”.    It would be helpful to know who is able to attend.  Please text/call Sue Berry:  410-207-7823, E-mail:  sueberry@comcast.net  Thank you!

Although the weather looks a bit questionable for the weekend, I hope you are able to enjoy some good family time together! See you next week!

Take Care,

Chrissy
