Our Philosophy

We believe children are spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical beings who should be respected and valued as unique individuals.

Welcome!

Each child must be allowed to develop at an individual pace that is comfortable. Children learn through play, interacting with and exploring their environment. The teacher is a facilitator; providing materials, experiences, and loving support.

Our Mission

The Mission of Trinity Church Day School is to encourage growth through learning experiences in a Christian atmosphere of love, support, and respect. To plant the seeds of faith which we hope will grow and spread in our children, as they continue their journey and are called to serve God and to love and care for each other.

In support of this statement, we set the following goals:

  1. To provide a warm and friendly atmosphere where our children can develop a sense of self worth and confidence.
  2. To support Christian values through teachings and attending weekly chapel services
  3. To implement an educational program that instills love, caring, and respect for each other.
  4. To provide a climate of open communications where information is freely given and received.
  5. To commit to Christian stewardship by teaching each child the importance of sharing with and helping each other.

The Staff of Trinity Church Day School also support the following educational goals:

  1. Provide a curriculum suited to the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual level of each child.
  2. Provide experiences which inspire and direct each child to know and come to understand the wonder and awe of the world in which we live.
  3. Create a classroom atmosphere where each child is accepted as an individual and feels a sense of belonging and a feeling of being loved.
  4. Create a classroom atmosphere where each child can respond to opportunities for new experiences and responsibilities.
  5. Provide each child experiences and relationships with adults other than his or her parents.
  6. Aid each child to grow toward a maximum potential of self-esteem and a positive self-image.
  7. Help each child to experience the joy of living and to take pride in achievements.
  8. Help each child to express perceptions and to defend his or her ideas.

What Our Families are Saying

We LOVE Trinity Church Day School! The staff at TCDS are Angels, just like the children who attend! The rigorous academic curriculum taught within a Christian atmosphere creates kind, loving, motivated, lifelong learners. The extended care program offered is perfect for our working family. We couldn’t be more thankful and blessed to be part of the caring and compassionate TCDS family.

-Kristen and Jake Deford

Trinity Church Day School means that there is no doubt my son will be prepared for kindergarten and he will have many kind and loving friends in school. My 2 younger sons love Trinity so much, that my oldest son is upset that he did not go to Trinity! I could not be happier with the knowledge, kindness and compassion my children learned at Trinity.

– Shannon Menapace

We feel very fortunate that Trinity has the aftercare program available as an option to parents. To say that our children, Victor John and Lucy, love staying for aftercare is an understatement. There have been numerous times when we have come to pick them up earlier than they have liked and they have left in tears! Victor John has made so many amazing friends and loves all that aftercare offers – the playtime, the craft projects, the special theme days and the teachers. Lucy has been so nurtured and cared for this year that even at such a young age she loves staying. We feel very blessed that our children have had this experience.

– Kara and Vic Minoglio

I think we can all pretty much agree that our children are the most important things in our lives.  So leaving your kid somewhere with people you barely know can be a tough thing to do.  But the whole TCDS environment is so welcoming, safe, and professional, that you not only feel that it’s ok to leave your kid there for 3 or more hours but that you actually desire to have your child there because of the enormous positive impact that the school has on them.
The teachers and staff are like family, and the teachers in particular are like magicians with the kids.  It’s really wonderful to see how much our child loves his teachers and loves going to school.  It’s an experience that we believe is setting him up for success for the rest of his life, both intellectually and socially.
